The Turkish Literature Summer School has welcomed participants from different countries can speak Turkish at the B2 level at a minimum, the participants are senior students in or graduates of Turkology departments, intend to translate Turkish literary works, and movies, or want to pursue of academic career on Turkish language. The program was held with 25 participants from 25 countries for the first time and with the support on the Directorate General of Libraries and Publications. The participants were immersed in Turkish literature at various venues in Istanbul, meeting with leading literary figures for two weeks.
